What are nano brows?
Nano brows — short for nano hairstrokes — are fine, hair-like lines tattooed into the brow with a single ultra-fine needle attached to a digital machine. That machine gives me precise, consistent control over each stroke’s depth and shape, which is what makes the strokes look so crisp and natural as they heal.
They’re a great fit if you want maximum realism, have sparse or patchy brows you’d love to fill, or simply want to wake up with brows that already look done. If your skin runs very oily, we’ll talk about whether combo brows might hold up better for you — I’ll always tell you honestly.
Nano brows vs microblading what's the difference?
This is the question I get most, so here’s the honest breakdown. Microblading uses a hand-held blade to create tiny cuts that hold pigment. Nano does something similar visually — fine hair strokes — but uses a machine needle that punctures rather than slices. That difference matters more than it sounds.

The short version: nano tends to last longer, heals a little kinder to the skin, and works on more people — which is exactly why I chose to specialize in it. Microblading can still look beautiful on the right skin, but nano is the more versatile, longer-lasting choice for most.
A quick honest note about oily skin
Fine hairstrokes — nano included — can blur or fade faster on very oily skin, because oil softens crisp lines over time. If that’s you, it doesn’t mean you can’t have beautiful brows; it usually means combo or powder brows will hold their look longer. I’d rather point you to the technique that lasts than sell you the one that photographs well on day one.

What to expect sessions and healing
Nano brows are done in two appointments: the first to create the shape and strokes, and a perfecting session several weeks later once you’ve healed, to refine anything that needs it. That second visit is normal and expected — skin takes pigment differently everywhere, and the touch-up is how we get them just right.
For the first week or so the strokes look darker and sharper than the final result. As they heal, they soften into that natural look. You’ll get simple aftercare instructions, and the true result shows at about four to six weeks.

Nano brows typically last about 18 to 24 months — usually a bit longer than microblading — though it varies with your skin type and lifestyle. Because they fade gradually, most people come back for a refresh every 18 months or so to keep the strokes looking crisp and the color true.
Are nano brows better than microblading?
For most people, yes. Nano uses an ultra-fine machine needle instead of a hand blade, which tends to last longer, heal more kindly on the skin, and work on more skin types — including oily skin, where microblading often fades and blurs. Microblading can still look lovely on dry or normal skin, but nano is the more versatile choice.
Do nano brows work on oily skin?
They can, but fine hairstrokes hold their crispness best on normal to combination skin. On very oily skin, the strokes may soften faster, so combo or powder brows often last better. At your consultation I’ll look at your skin honestly and recommend the technique that will stay looking good longest for you.
Do nano brows hurt?
Most people find them very tolerable — more of a light scratching than real pain. A topical numbing cream is used before and throughout to keep you comfortable. Brows are generally one of the easier areas for permanent makeup.
